John A. Carlisle is a trial and appellate attorney whose practice emphasizes litigation of civil cases in both federal and state courts of Florida. Mr. Carlisle’s experience involves representation of clients in matters relating to business and commercial litigation, product liability defense, professional liability, contract disputes and intellectual property litigation. Mr. Carlisle also has experience defending claims arising under the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA).

Mr. Carlisle completed his undergraduate studies with honors at Florida State University in 1999, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa and completed the liberal studies honors program. Mr. Carlisle continued his education at the University of Florida College of Law, graduating with honors in 2002. During his time at the University of Florida, Mr. Carlisle served as a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy courses.

Ms. Carlisle was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He is married to Amy Carlisle, and has two daughters.
